We kindly as you to take a few minutes to read the important information below which will assist you with making any applications. Thank you.
OETT funding is open to Orthotists, Orthotic Technicians and Orthotic Managers.
Graduates moving onto apprenticeships.
Graduates are able to apply for an apprenticeship as the next step in their career after gaining their degree, if this means acquiring substantive new skills. This ensures that an individual is not funded twice to do the same training.
Therefore as a graduate your employer can access the levy, if they chose to use the funds for this purpose, that includes MSc level.
OETT applications for funding are made online.
You will be able to create an account and make new applications. All applications that you create using the online application process will be available to you when you login including any feedback you may decide to provide. Funding may be granted* for course fees, travel to and from a course and accommodation.
Applicants can make an online application for funding of a course before or after booking / attending, but payments are only available after attending a course and providing proof of attendance and the associated receipts (subject to OETT approval of funding).
Please note: OETT are unable to provide payments before you attend a course.
Please visit the About Us page for further information regarding who funding is available to.
OETT are pleased to advise that from 15 July 2024 funding payments will be made via electronic bank transfer, from the CAF bank (Charities Aid Foundation).
We are in the process of updating the online application form and we ask that where you are required to provide ‘Payment Details: Who cheques should be made payable to’ we kindly ask you to supply the below information, in order for us to process the funding payment.
